Recently the seventh grade went to the Sargent Center where we put into practice the Four C’s -- Care, Cooperation, Commitment and Communication -- while learning about and enjoying the great outdoors. After spending four days in the woods, we came to appreciate the importance of trees in our environment. That’s why I believe Team Trees (https://teamtrees.org/) is an excellent charity for us to support. Their goal is to raise $20,000,000 by January 1st. In about a week, they are over halfway there. To accomplish this, they have partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and relied on strong communities like Lincoln’s to donate money. I am currently organizing a charity event for Team Trees at the middle school, and I know that with Cooperation, some Commitment and a whole lot of Care, we can succeed. I know you might think that I forgot one of the C’s (Communication), but I’m communicating with everyone who receives these emails right now, asking for help. I hope that with the help of the Lincoln School’s PTO, we can make this a truly special community event. So please spread the word, consider donating and don’t forget that every dollar will make a difference.
