Build Scarecrows with the LPTO!

 

Sunday, Oct. 8th; Wednesday, Oct. 11th; Saturday, Oct. 14th

 

In collaboration with Metco Coordinating Committee (MCC) and Stonegate Gardens, the LPTO is offering 3 opportunities to Build a Scarecrow and join in our spectacular *Campus Community Display!

 

 

 

Sign-Up Now (CLICK HERE!) for our On-Campus Community Building Extravaganza - Wednesday, Oct. 11th (Dismissal – 4pm): Lincoln and Boston-based students can “Stay and Play”, and enjoy a pizza lunch and Scarecrow-building fun with friends! Space and materials are limited, so please click here to register. Registration is required by Oct. 4th to secure your spot. A late bus to Boston (arriving at Franklin Park Zoo) will depart at 4:00pm.

 

Can’t make the Wednesday? Join us at Stonegate Gardens  - 339 South Great Road (Rt. 117) in Lincoln - Sunday, Oct. 8th (1 -4pm), OR Saturday, Oct. 14th  (10am – 3pm):  

 

Create your Scarecrows surrounded by Stonegate’s beautiful and festive autumn gardens. Complementary cider and snacks for all who attend.

 

*All participants will be offered the chance to display their scarecrows along the entrance to Ballfield Road! Don’t miss your chance to represent!

 

$15/scarecrow – Please bring a pillowcase for your scarecrow’s head, old clothing. Pants with belt loops and long sleeve shirts – teen to small adult sizes - are best. Special accessories (hats, masks, wigs, etc.) are welcome.

 

Stonegate Gardens provides hay, twine, stakes, and step by step instructions! Additional craft supplies for decorating your Scarecrows will be provided at each location. (Caretaker supervision is required at the Wednesday and weekend events. No drop-offs, please.)
